Dump Cakes have got to be the easiest desserts there are. If you are a huge fan of cherry filling like I am, try the other cherry desserts that I have shared. EASY CHERRY CHEESECAKE DIP,The Best No -Bake Cherry Cheese- Cake !, or Cherry Poke Cake all are great.

Personally, chocolate cake has never been my favorite. I’m more of a white cake person. However, adding the cherries to the devil’s food cake was definitely a game-changer. It is so good.

This Dump Cake is perfect for your holiday get-togethers. I will definitely be serving it when we have the kids and grandkids over at Christmas.

The best part about it is that it takes such few ingredients – Just a cake mix, cherry topping, some butter, and a crockpot to cook it in. It is always a good idea to spray food release or use a plastic liner for the crockpot. (Making clean up so much easier)

How to Make Chocolate Cherry Dump Cake:

Ingredients Needed:

• Cake Mix ( I used Devils Food )
• Cherry Topping
• Butter

Instructions :

1. Spray Crock Pot 
2. Add Cherry Topping 
3. Dump in cake mix 
4. Cut up Butter -add to crockpot 
5. Stir Occassionaly
6. Cook on High for 2 hours or low for 4 hours

French Apple Pie With Cinnamon Roll Crust is fantastic. So easy to make with just a tube of cinnamon rolls, a can of apple pie filling, pecans, and a few other ingredients. You will be a huge hit if you make this for your family or take it for pot luck.

French Apple Pie With Cinnamon Roll Crust

This pie was delicious. We had it on Thanksgiving and it was a huge hit. I had been thinking about making an apple pie and couldn’t decide what kind of crust to do. After researching several different recipes, the cinnamon roll crust was the winner.  This is the first pie I’ve shared that isn’t a no-bake. In the past I have shared some great pies EASY NO BAKE BANANA CREAM PIE !, The Best No-Bake Cherry Cheese- Cake ! ,Millionaire Pie   all delicious -give them a try.

My husband loves apple pie and I felt bad making it when he isn’t eating sugar. Luckily he also loves carrot cake and his very thoughtful daughter made him a keto version. However, I have never been a huge fan of regular apple pie but adding the pecans and using the cinnamon roll crust, was a complete game-changer.

This recipe is made with pie filling, but of course, if you are feeling ambitious, you could use fresh apples and make your own filling. I’m kinda famous for taking short cuts because anything  I can do to save 15 minutes or a half hr is awesome. 

How To Make French Apple Pie With Cinnamon Roll Crust :

INGREDIENTS  Needed:

• Refrigerated Cinnamon Rolls -(I used Pillsbury)
• All-purpose flour
• Brown sugar
•  Ground cinnamon
• Cold Butter
• Chopped Pecans
• Apple  Pie Filling 

Instructions For Making The Pie :

1. Pre-heat oven 
2.  Separate dough into 8 rolls, and place cinnamon side up on the counter, or a tray. Let stand at room temperature 10 minutes. 
3. In a medium bowl, mix flour, brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut in cold butter using a fork or pastry blender until crumbly. Stir in pecans; set aside.
4. Press and flatten each roll into 3 1/2-inch round. In ungreased 9-inch pie plate, place 1 roll in the center; surround with the remaining 7 rolls. Pat and press to stretch the dough to cover the bottom and side of the pie plate. Make sure there are no holes between the flattened rolls. Bake 10 minutes.
5. Spoon pie filling in the center of cinnamon roll crust; top evenly with streusel. Bake 20 to 23 minutes or until edges of crust and topping are golden brown. Cover edges of crust with strips of foil or a crust shield during the last 5 to 8 minutes of baking, if necessary, to prevent excessive browning. Cool 1 hour.

 If you chose to use the icing that comes with the cinnamon rolls, microwave, and drip over cooled pie. However, I chose to leave it off

This quick and easy recipe is for The Best Peppermint Milkshake. It is the season for all things peppermint. So with just a few ingredients, you can throw together this frozen minty treat.

The Best Peppermint Shake

 This Peppermint shake  –  is simple, quick and delicious!  It is one of our favorite holiday treats! A cool drink made from vanilla ice cream, milk, peppermint extract and topped with whipped cream and crushed candy cane pieces! – Oh My ! I could drink this every day.

In the past, I probably would have gone to https://www.chick-fil-a.com or Friendly’s to pick up a peppermint milkshake. However, now that I know how easy it is to grab the stuff at the grocery and whip it up in 5 minutes or less, it is so much quicker.

Remembering my past, making milkshakes at Friendlys or Frisch’s was never my favorite thing to do. Now that I have a ninja blender though, its no trouble at all, it mixes up so quickly.

What is needed to make The Best Peppermint Milkshake?

• Vanilla Ice Cream- ( I use carbsmart by Breyers  just because I need any help I can get)
• Milk (whole or 2%)
• Peppermint Extract
• Crushed Peppermint Candy (I used candy canes)
• Red Food Coloring (optional)
• Cherry 
• Redi Whip or Whipped Cream 
• Candy Cane for garnish (optional)

Starting with Home Made Christmas Mints and Easy Christmas Fudge.  Now on to cupcakes. There are a few fun cupcake recipes that I am excited to be sharing in the next few weeks.

Everyone knows I normally take the easy way out. This was no exception. These cupcakes started with a boxed cake mix. With a little food coloring and peppermint flavoring, they were a snap to throw together.

If you are looking for an easy treat to make with your kids, these Candy Cane Cupcakes are your ticket. It is my plan to make them again when the grandkids are over.  They will be so excited, especially my granddaughter, she loves anything pretty and festive.

These cupcakes are also a great treat to take to a Christmas or holiday party or pot luck. You will need a white cake mix, the fixings to make it, buttercream frosting, peppermint extract, and candy canes or peppermint candy.

• White Cake Mix (I used Pillsbury moist supreme)
• Vegetable Oil
• Eggs
• Water

• Butter softened to room temperature
• Powdered Sugar
•  H
• Vanilla Extract
• Peppermint Extract
• Salt

OTHER:

• Red Food Coloring 
• Crushed Candy Canes Or Peppermint Candy
• Red and White Sanding Furniture

How Do I Make Candy Cane Cupcakes

1. Make Cake Mix as directed on box-(I used white but your flavor of choice could be used)
2. Add peppermint extract 
3. Pour into Cupcake Pan ( I used liners)
4. Add food coloring -swirl with a toothpick
5. Bake as directed on box
6. Frost with Butter Cream  Frosting
7. Sprinkle with Candy and Sugar

Making pies is scary to me, so far all of them that have been shared on the blog Mile High Strawberry Jello Pie,  EASY NO BAKE BANANA CREAM PIE .and now this one have all been no-bake with store-bought crusts. However, it is my mission to learn to make pie crust from scratch.  I am going to try using the recipe at https://walkingonsunshinerecipes.com/pie-crust-basics/.Her directions look easy to follow.

 

This pie can be thrown together in just a few minutes, even if you are an amateur like me. Just mix all the whipped topping, fruit topping, and nuts together and throw them into a premade graham cracker crust and you have perfection.

What You Will Need To Make This Pie :

• A Graham Cracker Crust
• Coconut Flakes
• Canned Fruit Cocktail (or Pineapples)
• Marchiano Cherries 
• Chopped Pecans or Walnuts

Carmel Apple Fluff Salad is a delicious blend of apples, pudding, whip cream, walnuts Caramel topping, walnuts, and caramel chips. It is sure to make you say, Yum.

Is there anything better than a delicious, rich dessert disguised as a salad? In my opinion, I would have to say there are very few things that good. If you are looking for a dish for a pot luck or aside dish to take to a Thanksgiving Dinner.  You’ve hit the jackpot with this  Caramel Apple Fluff Salad.

 

I Have seen a similar salad made using candy bars – (snickers or Twix) however there has been a bag of caramel chips in my freezer that I didn’t know what I was going to do with and I didn’t have any candy bars so decided to make them work. Did it ever, this fluff salad recipe is absolutely awesome. Similar to Fluffy Watergate Salad this dish is really more of a dessert but it is usually acceptable to eat it with your main course haha.

What Are The Ingredients To Make Caramel Apple Fluff Salad :

• Apples (I used a mixture of red and green)
• Instant Vanilla Pudding
• Milk 
• Whipped Topping (Cool Whip) 
• Marshmallows 
• Caramel Chips 
• Walnuts 
• Caramel Sauce 

How To Make Caramel Apple Fluff Salad :

1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk  together pudding, milk, whipped topping (cool whip)
2. Fold in apples, caramel chips, walnuts and marshmallows 
3. Drizzle caramel sauce over top of the fluff
4. Refrigerate until ready to serve

As mentioned in my previous posts for  Cherry Poke Cake and The Best No-Bake Cherry Cheese- Cake!      Cherries are some of my favorite fruits. Took a little break from everything pumpkin and apple. However, I hope you tried Pumpkin White Chocolate Chip Cookies and Cinnamon Apple Turnovers.   

If you want to make it for as a dessert at your dinner party, an afternoon snack or take to a pot luck you will be a hit. 

Dips are my go tos when I need something for pot luck. They are so quick to whip up. This Easy Cherry Cheese Dip can be ready in 10 minutes tops.  Leftovers keep well for several days in an airtight container making it easy to grab later when you need to satisfy a sweet tooth. You will only need 6 ingredients to make the dip , most of which I keep in my baking pantry.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED TO MAKE EASY CHERRY CHEESECAKE DIP:

• Cream Cheese
• Marshmallow Cream 
• Cool Whip or another whipped topping 
• Vanilla Extract
• Cherry Pie Filling (or fruit of choice)
• Vanilla Wafers (or graham crackers)

HOW TO MAKE EASY CHERRY CHEESECAKE DIP:

Gather Ingredients needed for the dip (also vanilla extract and wafers or crackers for dipping )

Mix Cream Cheese and Marshmallow – add Vanilla 

Fold In Cool Whip

Spread In Serving Dish 

Ready To Serve With Cherry Topping

With this one, we also added some caramel topping. Oh my god! It was to die for and will definitely be making it again.
