These Vanilla Sugar Cranberries are so easy to make. They are perfect for adding a special touch to desserts or beverages or just enjoy them alone as a sweet and tart delicious snack.
These easy to make sweet and tart treats are so pretty, a bonus in addition to tasting great. The sugar glimmers off of them making them look like they are covered in snow. These berries can be added to my list of easy holiday goodies. Easy Christmas Fudge, Home Made Christmas Mints and Candy Cane Cupcakes are all great.
These delicious, beautiful, sparkling little berries are so easy to make. Just 4 ingredients Sugar, vanilla, cranberries, and water are needed to make them. They do however take about 2.5 hrs to make.
When you put these yummy cranberries on the table at your holiday get-togethers, you are sure to be a that hit. I would be willing to bet that multiple people will compliment you on them. I would also guess that they will want the recipe.
The cranberries can be made with or without the vanilla. Personally I love the vanilla flavor with the cranberry but if it is not your thing, they are still great without it.
How To Make Vanilla Sugar Cranberries:

- Make a simple syrup with sugar, water and vanilla extract

- With a slotted spoon, move cranberries a few at a time to wire drying rack-let dry for 1 hour. (If you don’t have a rack that is small enough rails to hold the cranberries, put a paper towel across so they can still drain without falling through.
- After 1-hour berries should be dry but still sticky. Roll a few berries at once in remaining sugar until completely coated. -let dry for an additional hour.

I’m pretty sure after posting Biscuit Wreath With Buffalo Chicken Dip and Buffalo Chicken Tenders in the past that it’s not a shock to anyone that I love buffalo sauce. Buffalo Chicken salad or Buffalo Chicken and french fries are probably up there with my favorite meals. Definitely a go-to no matter where we are eating.
However, this particular recipe for All-Star Buffalo Chicken Wings is my favorite and holds a special place in my heart. At one point Joe and I owned a Pizza Restaurant with my brother and his wife. This is the recipe for wing sauce that we served. We used a fryer in the restaurant but this Instant Pot/Broiler method is a good substitute.
We did make a few updates to the wing recipe since the pizza shop days. I made a quick dry rub to give them a little extra flavor- a little paprika, red pepper, black pepper, and garlic powder. It was perfect. The wing sauce is just a basic medium buffalo made with Franks hot sauce, Italian dressing and butter. The hot sauce can be adjusted more or less depending on heat preference.
How to Make All-Star Buffalo Chicken Wings:

This pie was delicious. We had it on Thanksgiving and it was a huge hit. I had been thinking about making an apple pie and couldn’t decide what kind of crust to do. After researching several different recipes, the cinnamon roll crust was the winner. This is the first pie I’ve shared that isn’t a no-bake. In the past I have shared some great pies EASY NO BAKE BANANA CREAM PIE !, The Best No-Bake Cherry Cheese- Cake ! ,Millionaire Pie all delicious -give them a try.
My husband loves apple pie and I felt bad making it when he isn’t eating sugar. Luckily he also loves carrot cake and his very thoughtful daughter made him a keto version. However, I have never been a huge fan of regular apple pie but adding the pecans and using the cinnamon roll crust, was a complete game-changer.
This recipe is made with pie filling, but of course, if you are feeling ambitious, you could use fresh apples and make your own filling. I’m kinda famous for taking short cuts because anything I can do to save 15 minutes or a half hr is awesome.
How To Make French Apple Pie With Cinnamon Roll Crust :
INGREDIENTS Needed:
- Refrigerated Cinnamon Rolls -(I used Pillsbury)
- All-purpose flour
- Brown sugar
- Ground cinnamon
- Cold Butter
- Chopped Pecans
- Apple Pie Filling
Instructions For Making The Pie :
- Pre-heat oven
- Separate dough into 8 rolls, and place cinnamon side up on the counter, or a tray. Let stand at room temperature 10 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, mix flour, brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut in cold butter using a fork or pastry blender until crumbly. Stir in pecans; set aside.
- Press and flatten each roll into 3 1/2-inch round. In ungreased 9-inch pie plate, place 1 roll in the center; surround with the remaining 7 rolls. Pat and press to stretch the dough to cover the bottom and side of the pie plate. Make sure there are no holes between the flattened rolls. Bake 10 minutes.
- Spoon pie filling in the center of cinnamon roll crust; top evenly with streusel. Bake 20 to 23 minutes or until edges of crust and topping are golden brown. Cover edges of crust with strips of foil or a crust shield during the last 5 to 8 minutes of baking, if necessary, to prevent excessive browning. Cool 1 hour.
If you chose to use the icing that comes with the cinnamon rolls, microwave, and drip over cooled pie. However, I chose to leave it off

Extra Crispy Oven-Fried Drumsticks are as tasty and juicy as KFC. In my opinion anyway, however, you can just throw them in the oven at home. Avoiding the drive-thru or door dash.
We eat a lot of chicken in our house. Rotating KETO JALAPENO POPPER CHICKEN CASSEROLE, Awesome Chicken And Biscuits Instant Pot, Buffalo Chicken Tenders. We were always chicken breast eaters until recently we started eating more thighs and legs. We love the Instant Pot Barbeque Chicken Thighs that I started making recently.
In October we went on vacation to California and stayed with my husband’s brother and his wife. My sister in law is an excellent cook. She shared with me, this recipe for these Extra Crispy Oven-Fried Drumsticks. She tells me that only drum sticks work, haha. Not sure if that’s true. Soon I will test it with thighs and see how they come out.
This chicken is very moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. The recipe is very simple, the drum sticks are dipped in melted butter, then battered with a mixture of bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, and a few spices.
This chicken takes about an hour in the oven to cook, the trick to keeping it moist (in addition to the butter) is to keep it tented with aluminum foil. In the second half of the baking, you will want to take it off to let it get crispy.
When we were making these drumsticks it was for a large crowd. We were serving my husband’s brothers and their wives. Nothing better than time with family. If it’s in San Diego that makes it even better. Oh, how I miss the west coast, especially in the winter. My kids and those beautiful grandkids of mine keep me in Ohio.

Rainbow Jello Christmas Cookies are so colorful and fun to make. They are so much easier than having to ice your cookies, they will be a huge hit at a cookie exchange or pot luck.
Using Jello mix and just a few ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen, these cookies can be whipped up in no time. If you are looking for an easy cookie recipe to do with your kids, Rainbow Jello Christmas Cookies are a perfect choice. All of the cookie recipes I have made so far this season Cake Mix Chocolate Chip Christmas Cookies, Grandma’s Sour Cream RaisinCookies, Cherry Kissmas (Christmas) Cookies all are fairly easy, but this one is probably the easiest.
You can choose to make as many different colors as you’d like, I used 4 different colors but if you only have 2 or 3 boxes of jello -go with that. Christmas colors were used for this batch, but you could adjust colors for whatever occasion you are celebrating.

- 4 small boxes Jello Colors of choice and as many different colors as you'd like
- Food Coloring Optional but improves color
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees, and line two baking sheets with silicone or parchment.
- In a mixing bowl cream together the butter and 1 cup of sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- Add the vanilla and mix until combined. Add the flour, salt, and baking soda, and mix until combined
- Divide the dough into four equal portions (one for each color of jello mix), and add 2 tablespoons of jello mix to each portion. Add 3-4 drops of the same color of food coloring to each bowl. Mix until the color is evenly distributed. and the dough is desired color
- Place the remaining 1/2 cup sugar in a small bowl. Roll the dough into one inch balls, then roll each ball in the sugar. Place on the prepared baking sheets and flatten slightly with a glass or palm of your hand.
- Bake 8-10 minutes, or until the cookies just slightly browned on the bottom and the tops look dry. Let cool 5 minutes on the pan before transferring to a cooling rack.- Serve and enjoy

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week so many blessings, my mother being here with my brother, my niece for making it happen and of course my husband, children their significant others and my adorable grandchildren.
Making these Cherry Kissmas (Christmas) Cookies was really easy and oh my, they are delicious. Originally this recipe was found at the-girl-who-ate-everything.com/ so shout out to her. However, I did make a couple of tweaks to the recipe to make it my own.

My favorite part of making these cookies was that they are pink! Pink is my favorite color, all things pink for me.
How to make Cherry Kissmas (Christmas) Cookies:
INGREDIENTS NEEDED
- Maraschino Cherry Juice
- Vanilla Extract
- Red Food Coloring (optional but gives it the great pink color)
- All-purpose Flour
- Maraschino Cherries
- Chocolate Kisses
- Softened Butter
- Powdered Sugar
- Salt
How To Make the Cookies :
Pre-heat Oven
Mix Butter, Sugar, and salt
Beat in Cherry Juice, Vanilla, and Food Coloring
Add Flour and Cherries
Roll out Dough
Form Balls put on prepared baking sheet

- Electric Mixer

Ingredients
- 1 cup Butter Softened
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 3 tsp Maraschino Cherry Juice
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 5-6 drops Red Food Coloring Optional but helps with color
- 2-1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 3/4 cup Chopped Maraschino Cherries
- 24 Chocolate Kisses
Instructions
- Pre-Heat Oven 350° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- In a large bowl , beat butter , powdered sugar and salt until fluffy
- Slowly add in flour and mix until well combined
- Stir in Cherries
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on a prepared baking sheet
- Bake 8-10 minutes until bottom is golden brown
- Press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.-edges will crinkle
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes ,move to cooling rack
- Store in air tight container
