Cream Cheese Frosting :
- Cream Cheese
- Butter
- Powdered Sugar
- Vanilla Extract
- Milk or Cream
Gather ingredients for your pumpkin bars.
Whisk dry ingredients together. Flour, baking soda, cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice.
Mix wet ingredients together. Butter ,pumpkin, sugars, vanilla and eggs.
Combine dry ingredients into the wet. Mix Well
Stir in the raisins . Stir well by hand.

Ingredients
Pumpkin Bars
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1 cup butter I use salted butter and eliminate actual salt
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 15oz. can pumpkin puree
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cream Cheese Frosting
- 1 8oz. block cream cheese softened
- 4 tablespoons butter softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk oe cream
Instructions
Pumpkin Bars
- Pre-heat oven to 350° Spray 10 x 15 inch jelly roll pan or pan of choice
- In a mixing bowl whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice
- In a separate large microwaveable bowl, melt butter in 30 second increments until melted. Cool for 2-3 minutes
- Add to the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, pumpkin, eggs and vanilla extract. Mix well . (do not use electric mixer)
- Add dry mixture into the wet ingredients. Mix well.
- Fold raisins into mix
- Pour batter into prepared pan. Spread evenly.
- Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until toothpick comes out clean when inserted.
- Cool completely - 2-3 hours
Cream Cheese Frosting
- In a medium mixing bowl, beat cream cheese on medium high until smooth.
- Add butter , vanilla extract , slowly add powdered sugar.
- Add milk or cream and continue to beat until smooth
