Spicy Pineapple Salsa is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. A mixture of pineapple, cilantro, tomatoes, peppers, red onion, lime juice, and spices. You are sure to love it for dipping chips or as a garnish on fish or chicken.

    Spicy Pineapple Salsa

Normally Im a traditional spicy salsa kinda girl. I love Easy Spicy Hot Salsa, and Copy Cat Chipotle Tomatillo Green-Chili Salsa. I never thought that I would like a fruit salsa, however last summer I made The Best Fresh Spicy Mango Salsa and I was hooked. Now I wanna try all the fruits mixed with the veggies. I still like to keep a little spice but the fruit pairs nice with the heat. This Spicy Pineapple Salsa was perfect with chips but also was great on grilled salmon (recipe coming soon).I also cant wait to try it on chicken.

Could Canned or Frozen Pineapple Be Used For This Recipe?

Yes, you could use canned or frozen if drained well. However, there is nothing like fresh.

    Can This Be Made Ahead?

Yes if stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator, but I wouldn't make more than a day ahead as the fresher the better.

How Do You Make It Less Spicy?

If you want a milder salsa, you could leave out the jalapenos and cut back on the cilantro.

    Great Add-In:

You could add in corn, black beans or red pepper to make Spicy Pineapple Salsa even more packed with flavor.
