    The Best Magic Bar Recipe

    This is The Best Magic Bar Recipe I have ever found. Made with Coconut, chocolate chips, caramel chips and sweetened condensed milk. They really are Magic.

    To be honest I had heard of magic bars but I don't think I had ever eaten them. However, I am not sure . Whatever the case they are delicious. kind of a cross between a cookie and a brownie. Lord knows I love both cookies and brownies. Have you tried my The Best Peanut Butter Cheesecake Brownies and my White Chocolate Chip Blondies? Both are fantastic Sugar Cookie Cherry Pie Bars are also great if you are wanting to stick with bar style.

    Storing and Freezing Magic Bars :

    Magic bars will keep well at room temperature in an airtight container for 4-5 days. The bars will also freeze very well for several months and can be taken out as needed.

    Hints for Changing Up Your Bars:

    • Use white chocolate chips or mint chips instead of caramel chips
    • Walnuts or almonds instead of pecans
    • Sub Chocolate or cinnamon graham crackers
    • Use toasted coconut

    • Butter (melted)
    • Sweetened Condensed Milk
    • Semi-sweet or Milk Chocolate Chips
    • Caramel Chips
    • Chopped Pecans
    • Shredded Sweetened Coconut
    • Sea Salt (optional)

    The Best Magic Bars Recips

    Graham Cracker Crust with Chocolate Chips, Caramel Chips, Coconut and Sweetened Condensed Milk

    • OVEN
    • Baking Pan, Spatula

    Ingredients

    • 2 cups Graham Cracker Crumbs Bought or Crushed Crackers
    • ½ cup Melted Butter 1 Stick
    • 1 can (14 oz.) Sweetened Condensed Milk
    • 1 cup Semi-Sweet or Milk Chocolate Chips
    • 1 cup Caramel Chips
    • 1 cup Chopped Pecans
    • 1 cup Sweetened Shredded Coconut
    • Sea Salt Optional Sprinkle on Top

    Instructions

    • Pre-heat Oven to 350°-line baking dish with parchment paper
    • Make the crust by melting butter and mixing into graham cracker crumbs , mix until all crumbs are moist and crumbly
    • Pour crumbs into a 9x13 baking dish and spread out using fingers or bottom of a measuring cup to flatten
    • Next pour sweetened condensed milk over graham cracker crust
    • Begin layering toppings, chocolate chips, caramel chips, pecans and the coconut sprinkled on top-gently push toppings to make sure they stick to sweetened milk
    • Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and chips are melted
    • Remove from oven and sprinkle with sea salt if chosen
    • Cool completely -lift out of pan with parchment paper and cut bars
    • Store in airtight container
