Cake Mix Chocolate Chip Christmas Cookies
As I've mentioned in my last few posts, with Christmas coming I'm trying out several cookie recipes. Have you checked out Soft Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, Almond Joy Cake Mix Cookies, Peanut Butter And Jelly Thumb Print Cookies and Low Carb Soft Snickerdoodle Cookies?
I'm not sure why it took me so long to figure out this whole cake batter cookie thing, but I'm glad I did.I have found several other cookie recipes that I want to try that with cake mixes. Stay tuned.
My grandkids are getting so excited about the holidays. First Thanksgiving with all the family here and the kids playing. All the great food and love filling the house. The beginning of the Christmas season. Black Friday shopping has always been a tradition with my family. My niece and I always go out together late Thanksgiving night -into Friday morning. This year my mother is going to be here. I'm so excited, it has been years since I spent Thanksgiving with my mother. Also she loves to shop. She's older now, I'm not sure how long she'll be able to stay out.
We will, however, be missing one member of our family this year. We lost our golden retriever madison last February, I still think of her daily. She loved wintertime. She would lay in the snow for hours. Luckily we still have our other dog Winnie and she is a great pet.
