Everyone loves a dump cake. whether you are going to a potluck or need a last-minute dessert for a weeknight dinner.

While the name might sound a little strange, When I first heard the name of this dump cake I was confused, However, it tastes almost like blueberry cobbler, but without all of the prep work. And with just three ingredients you can bet it will be one of the easiest desserts you ever make. Using the lemon cake mix gives it a little extra zing. It goes great with the blueberry. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream ob top and oh my. I made this dump cake in the oven. However, at Christmas time, I made Chocolate Cherry Dump Cake in the crockpot that came out great. I also made The Easiest Peach Cobbler You Will Ever Bake which was very easy and made with a cake mix as well. Cake mixes definitely come in handy. I always keep several on hand.
Can I Use Fresh Blueberries ?-
Yes, fresh frozen or canned will work. Making dump cakes so versatile they can be made during any season using frozen or canned fruit if fresh is not in season. Of course, you can substitute other fruits for blueberries, raspberries or cherries are great. With Halloween and Thanksgiving coming up, I'm thinking of trying a pumpkin dump cake. How Do I Store The Dump Cake?-
The cake will keep in an airtight container for 5-7 in the refrigerator. 3-6 months in an airtight container in the freezer.

- Cake mix
- Butter

- Pre-heat Oven
- Spray Baking Dish
- Dump Blue Berries In Dish
- Pour in Cake Mix
- Add Butter
- Bake

- OVEN
- Cake Pan
Ingredients
- 1 Box Lemon Cake Mix I used Duncan Hines
- 4 cups Blue Berries Either 2 cans of pie filling or frozen or fresh
- ¾ cup Butter 1 and ½ Sticks -Chopped Up
Instructions
- Pre-Heat Oven to 350°
- Spray or grease 13 x9 cake pan
- Dump Blueberries into the pan and spread around on the bottom
- Open Cake mix and Sprinkle on the Blueberries
- Cut butter into small pieces and place on top - that is it!
- Place in the oven for 55-60 minutes
- Remove from oven and let sit for 5-10 minutes
- Serve Warm with Vanilla Ice Cream
