Personally, chocolate cake has never been my favorite. I'm more of a white cake person. However, adding the cherries to the devil's food cake was definitely a game-changer. It is so good.

The best part about making a dump cake is that it takes such few ingredients - Just a cake mix, cherry topping, some butter and a crockpot to cook it in. It is always a good idea to spray food release or use a plastic liner for the crockpot. (Making clean up so much easier)
How to Make Chocolate Cherry Dump Cake:
INGREDIENTS NEEDED
- Cake Mix
- Cherry Topping
- Butter
Gather the ingredients for the dump cake.
Spray slow cooker with food release (Pam) or use a liner. Dump Cherries into Crockpot.
Add the cake mix and cut up the butter and lay on top. Cook 2 hours on high or 4 on low.
Ready to serve dump cake.
Serve alamode for extra yummy dessert.

Ingredients
- 1 Box Cake Mix I used Devils Food
- 2 21 oz cans Cherry Topping
- 1 cup Butter
Instructions
- Spray or Line Crockpot/Slow Cooker
- Add Cherry Topping to Crockpot
- Dump Cake Mix On Top Of Cherries
- Cut up 2 Sticks of Butter and Put on Top Of Cake Mix
- Put Lid on - Once it begins to cook - stir occasionally
- Cook for 2 hrs on high or 4 hours on low
