Easy Chocolate Cherry Brownies
Chocolate and cherries are such a great combination. Awhile back I shared my Chocolate Cherry Dump Cake, it was a huge hit. Brownies are one of my favorite desserts. Did you try my Peanut Butter Cheesecake Brownies? Dark Chocolate Brownies With Strawberry Buttercream Frosting were also fantastic.
Do you have chocolate lovers in your house as I do? If you do, these brownies will hit the spot. So easy and quick to make because they start with a boxed brownie mix. Adding the chocolate chips to the top, make them extra chocolatey and gooey. Looking at the brownies you can't really tell they have the cherry topping in them. However, you can taste the cherries and they definitely make them extra moist.

These brownies turned out decadent and delicious. However, there is a bit of confusing information in the recipe. The recipe reads to follow the directions on the brownie box. My box called for 2/3rds cups of oil, not the 1/2 cup listed on the recipe. Also, the instructions read that you will need a mixer, when the brownie box instructions state "handmix." I cooked in a 350° oven, and it took approximately 40-43 minutes to cook. (I understand that not all ovens cook the same,so I just adjusted the time)

Hi, Im so sorry for the confusion on the directions. I will take a look at it and make some corrections. Thank you so much for your input.
