These Dark Chocolate Brownies With Strawberry Buttercream Frosting are the perfect Valentine's Day treat. Using a boxed dark chocolate brownie mix, and this quick strawberry buttercream frosting, they can be ready in just over an hour.

If you are looking for a quick throw together Valentines' Day snack or dessert, these brownies are perfect. Brownies are one of my favorites treats. Did you try my Peanut Butter Cheesecake Brownies or the Halloween Cheesecake Brownies that we shared? Both were delicious with the cheesecake filling. However, I also love buttercream frosting, with fresh strawberries added it was extra good.

I decided I wanted to make some sort of Valentine's day treat, so I start looking around in the pantry to see what I had to work with. The cupboards are usually pretty well stocked with boxed cake mixes and brownie mixes. If I see them on sale, I pick up several whether I need them or not. Cake mixes are so versatile, we love using them for a short cut to make cookies. Strawberry Chocolate Chip Cake Mix Cookies , Almond Joy Cake Mix Cookies, and Cake Mix Chocolate Chip Christmas Cookies are a few great examples.

Cake mixes and brownie mixes are also always good for dump cakes like Slow Cooker Apple Spice Dump Cake or. Chocolate Cherry Dump Cake.

Do you celebrate Valentine's Day at your house?

My hubby isn't a big valentines person. I would say in 35 years, we've probably exchanged cards or got each other gifts 8-10 times. Definitely not a big deal though because we try to celebrate our love on a daily bases.

Dark Chocolate Brownies With Strawberry Butter Cream Frosting

When my kids were little I did always try to make sure I got them something for Valentine's Day. So far I have tried to continue that tradition with my grandkids. My plan is to make these Dark Chocolate Brownies With Strawberry Buttercream Frosting for them. Maybe another treat or two,
