One Weight Watcher Point Mozzarella Sticks
Did you know that on average at your typical restaurant, one single mozzarella stick can range anywhere from 3-5 points...FOR ONE PIECE! That's crazy to me. I like to find the best bang for my buck in the sense of WW points. I would much rather find an alternative to a higher point item than eat the real thing at a much smaller portion size.
Because these mozzarella sticks use Shake n Bake for the breading, they are super easy to whip up any day of the week! From time to time I like to have an appetizer night at home and I always make these mozzarella sticks to include in my sampler. Some other great items to pair with it are my All Star Buffalo Chicken Wings or even our Pepperoni Pizza Pockets. Let's jump into just how to make these cheese sticks!
How to Make One Weight Watcher Point Mozzarella Sticks:
Ingredients Needed:
- 12 Light Mozzarella String Cheese Sticks
- ¾ Packet Extra Crispy Shake n Bake Coating
- 1.5 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
- 1 Egg
Instructions:
- Start by cutting each of your mozzarella sticks in half and freeze them until solid, at least 2 hours.
- Once they have frozen, remove from the freezer and begin breading process.
- Combine Shake n Bake and Italian Seasoning in a bowl and set aside
- Crack your egg into a separate bowl and whisk until combined
- Dip each cheese stick into your egg mixture, followed by your Shake n Bake mixture and set aside as you go.
- Cook in your air fryer at 400 degrees for 5-8 mins

- 1.5 tablespoon Italian Seasoning I use Mrs.Dash to avoid salt but you can use your favorite!
- 1 Egg
- 12 Light Mozzarella String Cheese Sticks
Instructions
- Start by cutting your string cheese sticks in half and freeze them until solid, about two hours
- Once frozen, remove from the freezer and begin the coating process
- Combine Shake n Bake seasoning and Italian Seasoning, set aside
- Crack 1 egg into a separate bowl and whisk until combined
- Dip each string cheese piece into your egg, followed by your breading mixture
- Air Fry on 400 Degrees for 5-8 mins (Keep an eye on them so you don't overcook and have all the cheese come out of the breading)
- Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce or simply plain
