These delicious easy fish tacos with a spicy cabbage slaw are a perfect pairing. Served on warmed flour tortillas and topped with lettuce, cheese, and other choices of toppings this Mexican-inspired meal is perfect for a Lenten or anytime meal.

Mexican food is my all-time favorite. Have you tried my Easy Sheet Pan Fajitas or Chicken Queso Soup (Low Carb Keto Friendly )? However, up until now, I had never tried fish tacos. I always thought they sounded weird. Living in San Diego for many years, they were very popular there. They have a very popular chain called Rubios that is famous for fish tacos.
Recently I started thinking that fish tacos actually sounded kinda good. Therefore, I started looking for a recipe. After looking at several recipes I came across a couple of recipes that were served with spicy slaw on them. That sounded delicious to me, I'm all about the spice. The spicier the better. Jalapenos are my favorite. Do you like your food spicy or mild? That is when this Fish Tacos With Spicy Slaw was created.
The first time I attempted to make the fish tacos, it was a fail. I tried buying fresh fish and breading it myself. Not sure if it was because the fish I picked was not a good choice or it was my breading skills. Whichever the case, the fish came out yucky. Therefore, the next time I decided to use frozen fish fillets. So much better.
