Instant Pot Salisbury Steak
A couple of years ago I would have never attempted to make Salisbury steak, it looked complicated. Enter my Instant Pot making so many recipes so much easier -Instant Pot Barbeque Chicken Thighs,INSTANT POT MISSISSIPPI POT ROAST, Extra Creamy Instant Pot Mac and Cheese and INSTANT POT CHILI to name just a few.
If you haven't gotten in on the Instant Pot craze yet, you are missing out for sure. It makes life much easier as most things only require one pot. It allows you to saute and pressure cook in the same pot. Instant Pot has so many more functions that I haven't even begun to explore.

How to Make Instant Pot Salisbury Steak:
INGREDIENTS NEEDED :
- Ground Beef
- Bread Crumbs
- Onion
- Egg
- Worcestershire Sauce
- Minced Garlic
- Olive Oil
- Canned Mushrooms
- Beef Broth
- Tomato Paste
- Salt
- Pepper
- Corn Starch
INSTRUCTIONS :
- In a Large Bowl Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic (mix well)
- Form patties -refrigerate for 30 minutes - remove from refrigerator, let sit for 15-20 minutes at room temperature
- Turn on Instant Pot or another pressure cooker - set to saute and add olive oil
- Add patties in batches saute on each side for 2 minutes - remove and set aside
- Saute onions and mushrooms
- Add Broth - scrape any brown bits off the bottom with a wooden utensil or spatula
- Return Patties to pot making sure they are covered with liquid
- Close and seal lid of the pressure cooker
- On High-pressure select manual timer for 15 minutes
- Allow natural release for 20-25 minutes-release any remaining pressure with quick release
- Remove 4 tbsp of beef broth and whisk with 4 tablespoon corn starch
- Stir into liquid in pot and return to saute mode and thicken for 5 minutes
- Serve hot with mashed potatoes or rice

Ingredients
- 2 lbs Ground Beef Using ½ pork ½ beef is an option
- ¼ cup -diced Onion (white or yellow)
- 1 4 oz can Mushrooms
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Clove Minced Garlic
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oli
- 1 Large Onion -Thinly Sliced White or Yellow
- 2 Cups Beef Broth
- 2 tablespoon Tomato paste Can use ketchup
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper or to taste
- 2 tablespoon Corn Starch
