2lbsGround Beef Using ½ pork ½ beef is an option
¼cup -dicedOnion (white or yellow)
14 oz canMushrooms
1 LargeEgg
1teaspoonWorcestershire Sauce
1CloveMinced Garlic
2tablespoonOlive Oli
1Large Onion -Thinly SlicedWhite or Yellow
2CupsBeef Broth
2tablespoonTomato pasteCan use ketchup
1teaspoonSalt
1teaspoonBlack Pepperor to taste
2tablespoonCorn Starch
Instructions
In a Large Bowl Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic (mix well)-Form patties -refrigerate for 30 minutes - remove from refrigerator, let sit for 15-20 minutes at room temperature
Turn on Instant Pot or another pressure cooker - set to saute and add olive oil -Add patties in batches saute on each side for 2 minutes - remove and set aside. Saute onions and mushrooms
Add Broth - scrape any brown bits off the bottom with a wooden utensil or spatula
Return Patties to pot making sure they are covered with liquid .Close and seal lid of the pressure cooker.
On High-pressure select manual timer for 15 minutes allow a natural release for 20-25 minutes-release any remaining pressure with quick release.
Remove 4 tablespoon of beef broth and whisk with 4 tablespoon corn starch Stir into liquid in the pot and return to saute mode and thicken for 5 minutes. Serve hot with mashed potatoes or rice
