This Super Easy Cheese Danish is so easy to make, grab a tube of crescent rolls and some cream cheese, and you are ready to make a quick pastry.

    Super Easy Cheese Danish

This  Quick Easy Cheese Danish is a great addition to a holiday breakfast buffet or by itself as a quick breakfast on the run.

    Danish on Tray

Cheese Danish has always been a favorite of mine. I mean how delicious is a golden brown danish with sweet cream cheese filling and thick vanilla frosting.

    Danish With Fork

Anyone who knows me knows I have a huge sweet tooth. If you follow my blog hopefully you have tried some of my other great sweets like Caramel Apple Fluff Salad and Cherry Poke Cake        Or maybe Cinnamon Apple Turnovers.

However, always assuming that pastries were hard to make, kept me from trying to make them.  The holidays coming up has me getting brave. Hoping to try a few breakfast recipes that I can share with everyone for Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Slice of Cheese Danish On Plate

Well looking for a fairly easy danish recipe that I thought as a beginner I would be able to make, This one over at Laurens Latest looked perfect.https://laurenslatest.com/easy-cheese-danish.  I did make a couple of small adjustments to the recipe but kept it pretty close.

What is needed to make Super Easy Cheese Danish

    • Crescent Rolls
    • Cream Cheese
    • Granulated  Sugar
    • Vanilla Extract
    • ICING-
    • Powdered Sugar
    • Heavy Cream
    • Vanilla

How Do You  Make  Super Easy Cheese Danish :

    1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
    2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, flour, and vanilla (mix well, I used an electric mixer on med til well mixed.) Set aside.
    3. Open crescent rolls unroll dough onto an ungreased (I used parchment paper to line pan) baking pan. Line crescents up the length of the pan -width-wise.
    4. Press edges together s and seal any holes. Carefully spread cream cheese filling down the center of the dough to be about 2-3 inches wide.
    5. Cut ½ inch diagonal strips up each side of the dough.
    6. Fold ½ inch dough pieces up over filling alternating sides to get a braided pattern. You may have excess dough once you reach the end of the danish, so fold them in as best as you can.
    7. Bake for 20-25  minutes or until the filling is set and the crescent dough is golden in color. Cool before removing from the baking sheet.
    8. Once danish has cooled, remove to a serving platter. In a small bowl, mix together powdered sugar, vanilla, and cream to create icing.
    9. Add more cream to the icing if needed. Put icing in a zip lock bag and snip a corner or use a pastry bag to pipe onto danish.
    10. Slice and serve
    11. Grab a cup of coffee or a glass of milk and enjoy it

Hello. The recipe mentions flour, however, I don't see a measurement? Please provide.

        Hi Loraine,
Thank You for bringing this to my attention. Im very embarrassed to say that this is one of the first recipes I published. I have looked it over and have realized the flour does not belong in the recipe. I apologize for the confusion.
