Stuffing is probably my favorite thing on Thanksgiving . However I just may say that about Slow Cooker Red Mashed Potatoes, and Cinnamon Apple Walnut Bread. Lets face it , I love it all. The stuffing definitely has to be home made though. I refuse to do the stove top stuffing on Thanksgiving .  Any other time of the year I can live with it but on the holidays I like to cut up the celery and onions and melt the butter.  Yummy! Poultry seasoning is what give sit the spicy yummy flavor.

Cooking the Stuffing  In the Turkey ?

Although, that is how it was always done when we were growing up, hence giving it the name stuffing. It is now recommended that you cook it separately for food safety reasons . It definitely keeps it much moister if you cook it in the bird . However, if you do so make sure the stuffing and the turkey both have an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees.
