This Skinny Blackberry Margarita is so good, you would never know it was skinny. With premium silver tequila, fresh or frozen blackberries, monk fruit, limes, and salt. Served on the rocks, it's perfect.

This margarita is a perfect blend of salt and sweet. The last margarita I shared The Best Skinny Jalapeno Margarita was fantastic, however, this Skinny Blackberry Margarita may be my new favorite. The key to a good margarita is smooth high-end silver tequila. This time I used patron silver patrontequila.com/ often I use 1800 silver 1800tequila.com/products/silver/. mixed with a simple syrup made of fresh blackberries and monk fruit and fresh lime juice. Yum. It went perfectly with Easy Beef Enchiladas.

Being quarantined in the house has been crazy but it has given me time to reflect on how grateful I am for the life that I have. Blessed with a great husband, 4 grown kids that are all healthy hard-working adults. Also, 4 grandkids that are the loves of my life. It has also given me lots of time for cooking, and baking desserts and experimenting with different drink recipes.

Can You Use Gold Tequila or a Lower Grade of Alcohol?

Yes you can use gold or a cheaper silver. However the difference in the taste is huge I think. I'm not usually a label shopper. This is a time I think its worth it to get the good stuff.

Could a Different Sweetener be Used ?

You can substitute with your favorite sweetener or real sugar can be used.
