- 2 cups washed sliced fresh strawberries
- ⅓ cup monk fruit or sweetener of choice
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup water
In a medium saucepan, stir together strawberries, monk fruit, and water
Add lemon juice and vanilla ,bring to boil
Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes
Cool and store in an airtight container .-
Serve on your favorite dessert or breakfast items
