Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork or sausage
  • 1 onion diced
  • ½ cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese

Italian Sauce

  • 2 cans pasta sauce I used hunts garlic and herb
  • 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Spray slow cooker with cooking spray
  • Combine ground beef , ground pork and the rest of ingredients together in a mixing bowl
  • Form meatballs with hands or spoons and place in crockpot
  • Whisk together sauce ingredients and pour over meatballs
  • Pour over meatballs cook on high for 4 hrs or low 6-8 hrs
  • Serve on pasta or in a sub roll
