Easy To Make Steak Salad

  • Cast Iron Skillet
  • Cutting Board and Knife

Ingredients

Steak Rub

  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp. Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp. Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning

Salad

  • 2 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 8oz. Steak Rib Eye or Sirloin
  • 2-3 cups Greens I used Iceberg and Spring Mix
  • 1 Tomato Wedged, Chopped
  • 6-8 slices Cucumber
  • ¼ Green Bell Pepper Sliced
  • ¼ Red Bell Pepper Sliced
  • ½ Red Onion Sliced
  • 4 oz. Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 4 oz. Creamy Balsamic Dressing or Dressing of Choice

Instructions

  • Mix all spices together in bowl to make a rub
  • Take Steak Out of Refrigerator and Sprinkle Rub on Steak
  • Slice Steak
  • Slice Veggies
  • Heat Oil in Cast Iron Skillet - Cook Steak in Very Hot Oil , 3-4 Minutes on each side or until desired doneness. ( I love some pink in mine , however personal preference comes into play)
  • Remove from skillet and set aside
  • Assemble salad , put steak across the top , serve with dressing on the side.
