All-Star Buffalo Chicken Wings

Medium hot buffalo wings, cooked in the pressure cooker (instant pot) then crisped under the broiler.

  • Pressure Cooker

  • 2-3 lbs Chicken Wings Fresh or frozen
  • 1 14 oz Can Chicken Broth

Dry Rub

  • ¼ Cup Paprika
  • ½ tsp Red Pepper or Chili Powder more or less to taste
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder

Buffalo Wing Sauce

  • 1 Cup Franks Hot Sauce
  • ½ Cup Italian Salad Dressing
  • ¼ Cup Melted Butter


  • Ranch or Bleu Cheese Optional for Garnish
  • Celery Optional for Garnish


  • In a bowl or in storage bag blend together paprika, red pepper, black pepper, and garlic powder- coat wings with rub
  • Add broth to pressure cooker -add wings
  • Close and seal lid -
  • Cook on manual high pressure for 10 minutes -add 5 minutes if frozen - quick release
  • Well wings are cooking - whisk together hot sauce, Italian dressing, and melted butter
  • Coat wings in sauce
  • Serve with optional celery, ranch or bleu cheese
  • Napkins needed
