Equipment

  • Pressure Cooker
  • OVEN

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Chicken I use a mix of breast and thighs
  • 2 cups Chicken Stock
  • 2 tbsps Corn Starch
  • ¼ cup Coldwater
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 teaspoon Parsley Flakes
  • 1 tube Biscuits

Instructions

  • Put the trivet in the instant pot, pour chicken broth in the pot, add chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper -close and seal lid
  • Cook on manual pressure for 20 minutes - (if frozen add 5 minutes to cooking time)
  • Bake biscuits according to directions on the package
  • Do a natural release for 10 minutes - manually release any additional pressure
  • Remove chicken shred or chop -set aside
  • In a small bowl whisk corn starch into cold water -
    Turn instant pot on saute - whisk thickener into chicken broth
  • Add chicken back to the pot
  • Ladle over biscuits -garnish with parsley
